Columbia and Sauk County have programs for people of all ages who want to play pickleball or tennis. Check out of the programs listed below to find out how you can participate.
ADULT TENNIS GROUP, PORTAGE
An informal and recreational adult tennis group meets at the Wayne E. Bartels Middle School tennis courts, 255 E Slifer Street, Portage on Sunday evenings between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. It is a drop-in group open to players of any age. There is no obligation for you to show up and play every Sunday. This is simply a time frame when you can show up and meet other tennis players in the area and play. There is no fee to join this group, and you do not need to notify anyone if you plan to play or skip a night. Use the About page on this website to sign up if you're interested.​​
ADULT PICKLEBALL GROUP, PORTAGE
Experience the fun of pickleball at the Portage Adult Pickleball program, held at Pine Meadow Park, 865 Hamilton Street, on Monday and Wednesday mornings between 9 am and 11 a.m. This informal, drop-in style program is organized by the Portage Department of Parks and Recreation. It offers pick-up games for players of all skill levels. Anyone can join this group at any time. Limited equipment is available for free, but feel free to bring your own.

YOUTH TENNIS CAMPS, PORTAGE
The Portage Parks and Recreation Department offers youth tennis sessions for boys and girls aged 5-14, focusing on skill development and fundamental training in a relaxed atmosphere. These co-ed camps consist of drills and organized game play, tailored to each age level. They meet at the Portage Junior High School tennis courts, 255 E Slifer Street. Registration is required. There is a fee of $15 for Portage residents, or $25 for non-residents.

LODI AREA PICKLEBALL
Lodi has an informal volunteer organization that has been providing opportunities for

Lodi Sports and Recreation Center, 801 N Main Street, Lodi, WI 53555 has scheduled pickleball Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and Fridays from 7-9 p.m. You can drop in at any of those times for $4.
